With Windows 10, Microsoft has made significant changes to the way they deploy their desktop operating systems. A faster release cycle means new features more regularly, and Microsoft likes to make promises such as ‘this is the last Windows upgrade you’ll do’.

Unfortunately the reality has played out somewhat differently. Most organisations struggle to keep up with both the rate, and amount, of change. Issues with each new release has introduced significant work for IT teams, and testing of critical business applications can’t be ignored simply because it is still called ‘Windows 10’.
